The Grol estate is situated at only 100 meters from the lively centre of Renesse with its numerous small restaurants and shops. Walking to the spacious unparalleled beaches of the North Sea takes less than 15 minutes (800 m). Extensive dune areas with sealed roads for cyclists are in the immediate vicinity. The local bus transport at the 'Transferium' to the beaches is free of cost during Summer, from 15 May until 15 September.

The Grevelingen lake is widely known as a surfer’s Paradise. It takes only 15 minutes to the Grevelingen salt-water lake with all kinds of water recreation activities. The National Park Oosterschelde Estuary and the world famous Delta Expo ("Waterland Neeltje Jans") can also be reached in 15 minutes by car.

The small well preserved medieval cities of Zierikzee, Veere and Middelburg are very worthwhile visiting.

The island of Schouwen Duiveland is also excellent for cycling. There are numerous biking lanes behind the dunes, along the lakes and through the small villages. You can rent a bike at the "Transferium" in Renesse (at Fietsverhuur de "Fietsenwinkel"). We have a cycling map of Schouwen Duiveland you can borrow during your stay.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:

All prices are per person per night. Breakfast, City Tax and VAT are included. Your breakfast, with freshly squeezed orange juice, will be served in your room. You can choose what time you would like your breakfast (between 8:30 am and 10:00 am). We will bring your breakfast to your room, we will knock on your door and leave the breakfast tray at your door. When the weather is fine, it is also possible to have breakfast in our lovely garden.

You can park your car in our garden at the parking-lot, free of charge. At night we will close the gate, so that it is pretty safe to park your car in our garden.

All rooms are equipped with shower and toilet, hair-dryer, cable television, safe, Senseo Coffeemachine (coffee pads are included in the price), waterkettle and refrigerator. The Panorama Room and the Garden Room also have a whirlpool. Towels are also included, and will be exchanged daily if desired.

DISCOUNTS & SURCHARGES:

Discount for a minimum stay of 7 nights: € 5,- per person per night also during Peak Season.

Peak season surcharge: € 5,- per person per night in July and August and during Public Holidays.

Surcharge for 1 of 2 nights:  € 5,- per person per night. Reservations are only possible for a minimum stay of 3 nights. In case you come by without a reservation, a surcharge applies of 5 Euros per person per night for a stay of one or two nights.

Dogs are allowed, but only in the "Red Room" and in the "Middle Room", both luxury double rooms on the ground floor. We charge  € 5,- per dog per night (maximum: 2 dogs per room).
 

RESERVATIONS:

Reservations can only be made for a minimum stay of 3 nights. We are sorry that we can not make any exceptions.

The maximum number of persons per room is two. Children under 3 years old are allowed in a double room (€ 5,- per night). Children over 2 years old are not allowed in a double room, together with two adults because of the Fire Department.

It is possible to check in or check out every day of the week, except on wednesdays.
